This is the matching brooch for my Dragon chain.

Solid sterling silver with blue topaz. The Dragon head was cast using the lost wax technique.

Thankyou. All of you! :hug: I'm a stunned at how many faves this has got :jawdrop: . My tutor didn't like the design at all, he kept trying to get me to do something else! Of course he didn't like anything I designed that had a fantasy theme, so I pretty much ignored him. I think he was confused. I don't dress like a goth, but I kept designing 'Goth Jewellery'. I don't think he liked that I didn't fit into any of his little steriotypes.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who likes it.

I think my favorite part of this are the eyes - the blue topaz really sets them off from the rest of the head, and the shape is just perfect (granted, I've always been partial to marquis-cut stones, but that's beside the point). And I really like the simplicity of this, it would have been easy to overdo this design but the clean lines really make it contemporary and special.
