Pierced and 'carved' Sterling Silver sheet, 10x8mm Faceted Amethyst

This is what I gave to my Mum for Mothers Day. It was a totally rushed last minute thing I made the evening before mothers day (designed it at 8pm, finished it at 1.30am) but I am happy with how it turned out.

Mum likes it ;P

Thanks. Yes I think that too... I've actually got to the point where I deliberatly leave things till the last minute, just so I can use the pressure! It's going to cause a disaster one day, but so far it's working for me ;)

To carve it I used needle and riffler files and hand gravers on the leaves. The only machinery I used was my tumble polisher for half an hour before I set the stone.
